After graduation from Bob Jones University he and his wife, Marjorie, remained as faculty members for eight more years. After a brief sojourn in Minnesota, where Larry taught at Pillsbury College (Owatonna) and at Northwestern College (St. Paul), the Kauffman family moved to Clarks Summit to begin a teaching career at BBC. The Kauffmans have three young adult children, all happily married and living far from Clarks Summit: Jennifer, in South Carolina; Nathan, in Upstate New York; and John, a sergeant in the U.S. Army, currently stationed in Baghdad, Iraq. Mrs. Bonnie McCall
Instructor
|
Education: Bachelor of Religious Education from Baptist Bible College; Master of Science in Christian School Education from Baptist Bible College; Post – graduate studies in vocal pedagogy from Philadelphia College of Bible and Westminster Choir College of Rider University
Born and raised in a wonderful Christian family in Binghamton, New York, and attended First Baptist Church of Johnson City, where BBC was located. My goal was to attend and graduate from BBC in whatever vocation God chose for me. I always loved music and participated in school choirs, church choirs, special traveling singing groups and solo performance work. After graduating from BBC, my husband and I worked as interns at High Point Baptist Chapel in Geigertown, PA and from there went to our first and only pastorate at Langhorne Terrace Baptist Church in Langhorne, PA. We served there for 26 years before the Lord called us back to serve at BBC. During that time I was very involved in the music ministry of our church, and also worked as an Early Childhood Education teacher at the local Christian Academy for 17 years. Since we have been at BBC I have very much enjoyed teaching Early Childhood classes and teaching vocal pedagogy in our Music Department. We have three adult children and four absolutely wonderful grandchildren! The boys, Chad and Donn live and work locally, and our daughter Karis and her husband live south of Grand Rapids, MI where Kevin is the youth director of a local church. I enjoy playing my flute, working on crafts, home decorating, and traveling on missions trips with my husband.
